Ticket sales do not cover the costs of producing our events. We rely on grants, donations, and sponsors to assist in the success of our programs.  When you become a Patron of the Arts in Moab, you help us bring outstanding music and culture to our region, while sustaining the arts within the larger community. Did you know?

Friends of the Moab Folk Festival (Friends) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. The Moab Folk Festival has two paid employees. Board President Eric Jones, and our board of directors, donate their time to our non-profit organization. Friends’ programming efforts include: The Moab Folk Festival (Festival), the Moab Folk Camp (Camp), educational outreach within the Grand County school system, senior citizen outreach, and the Moab Free Concert Series. Through the spontaneous community that is, collectively, the Festival, the Camp, and all related activities, we use music to build compassion and a wider understanding of the world for our participants. Each year we aim to further this goal by finding new ways to incorporate more of our extended community in our events. With increasing operational costs, performer fees, and our growing repertoire of non-income generating community outreach activities, Friends has an ongoing need for individual donations and sponsor contributions.
