  • No, we do not offer camping. Visit the Discover Moab website to find out more about camping in and around Moab.

  • There are many hotels, nightly rentals, and campgrounds to stay in during your visit to Moab. Visit the Discover Moab website to find out more about lodging options in and around Moab.

  • This depends on where you want to sit! (Except for VIP, all tickets are General Admission seating.) The area closest to the stage is reserved for low-back chairs and other low-to-the-ground seating. Farther back in the audience is open to any kind of seating (standard lawn chairs, blankets, etc.)

  • Children 10 and under are FREE if accompanied by an adult! Children 11 to 15 require a “kids ticket” (20% discounted ticket). Children 15+ are required to have an adult festival pass.

    Discounted/free kids tickets are not available for the Star Hall venue.

  • Our Festival is all outdoors. Please bring layers to keep yourself comfortable in any weather condition, a refillable water bottle, and a blanket or chair to sit on.

    Please DO NOT BRING any glass, outside food, coolers, alcohol, or pets.

  • We highly encourage biking to our festival. Bike storage is available at the main entrance.

  • Tickets often sell out in advance, and we recommend purchasing them before arriving in Moab. If tickets are available on November 2 & 3, you will be able to purchase them at the gate.

  • Our Festival will happen RAIN or SHINE! The weather in November in Moab can vary day-to-day. We recommend bringing and wearing layers, to be ready for any change in weather. Raincoats and/or warm winter coats may be necessary, while some days may be t-shirt weather.

  • Yes, we have several food vendors at our Ballfield venue, including gluten free and vegan options.

  • Unfortunately, we cannot allow pets at our Festival. The Festival takes place on City of Moab property and is subject to their rules. The official policy states that dogs and other pets are PROHIBITED at City parks. For information about where your pet is allowed in Moab visit the Discover Moab website.

  • We are proud to have an array of vendors to enhance your Festival experience. Food vendors, artisan goods, beverage vendors, coffee, baked goods, instruments, apparel, and festival merchandise are among some of the offerings.

  • We do not offer refunds at this time. All ticket sales are final.

  • Attendance for the Moab Folk Festival is usually around 1500 people/day.

  • Yes! All volunteers are required to complete one (1) 8-hour volunteer shift, or two (2) 4-hour volunteer shifts to receive free entry to the festival. Sign up early to volunteer, as volunteer slots fill quickly. 2024 Volunteer shifts will be posted late summer- check back then to sign up.

  • Gates open between 10am and 10:30am on November 2 & 3. Early check-in will be available at Star Hall on Friday, November 1st.

  • You may exchange your ticket for a wristband in the afternoon on Friday, November 1. Wristbands will also be available Nov 2 or 3 at our Ticket Tent, at the North entrance to the Ballfield venue on Center Street (198 E Center Street).
